If you need to enable audio services on a Windows Server, you can follow these steps to ensure the audio functionality is operational.
Steps to Enable Audio Service
1. Open the Services Management Console
- Press Win + R to open the Run dialog.
- Type
services.msc
and press Enter.
2. Locate the Windows Audio Service
- In the Services window, scroll down to find the service named Windows Audio.
- Double-click on the Windows Audio service to open its properties.
3. Configure the Startup Type
- In the Properties window, under the General tab, find the Startup type dropdown.
- Set the Startup type to Automatic.
- Click the Apply button.
4. Start the Service
- Under the Service status section, click the Start button to activate the service.
- Once the service starts successfully, click OK to close the window.
